FIFTY THIRD POST FOR BIBLE READING

Peace be unto you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Today we will read Genesis 9:6-11

Let us start with a prayer:

Father God Almighty, we thank you, we praise you, and we bless your Holy Name. Father, we pray that you bless our blog and make everything that is written on this blog be Holy Spirit inspired according to your will. Let everyone who reads our blog be inspired to follow our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior we pray. Amen.

Let’s continue where we left off!

Open your bible to Genesis 9:6-11

6 “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind. 7 As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.” 8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

Verse Six: God is saying that he has made mankind in his own image and whoever sheds his brother’s blood, his blood shall be shed by his brother. Your brother can be any human being on earth since we are all from the same bloodline stemming from Noah. In other words, if you kill, you will be killed.

Verse Seven: God’s will for Noah and his family is to be fruitful and multiply, for this is a blessing and the grace of God.

Verse Eight through Ten: God established a covenant between Noah, his sons, their descendants after them, and every living creature on the earth.

Verse Eleven: In this verse, God was telling Noah exactly what the covenant entails. The covenant between God and every living creature on the earth is to never again destroy all life by the waters of a flood and to never again let there be a flood big enough to destroy the earth.

Thank you for reading the bible with me.

I want you to know, that no matter who you are out there or what your history is, God promises salvation to you and the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s son, cleanses you from all sin. No matter what you have done you will be forgiven and saved as long as you accept Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, that He sent down here from heaven to be a sacrificial lamb for the cleansing of our sins so that our names can be written in the book of life guaranteeing a spot in heaven for us.

Jesus Christ is coming soon, sooner than you think! He could come back for his followers at anytime, so we should make ourselves ready. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, pray this with me from your heart: Lord Jesus I’m a sinner, you died on the cross to save me from my sin, you shed your precious blood to wash away every taint, every stain and now I believe in you Jesus. I accept you as my Lord and my savior. Come into my heart, save me with your precious blood. In your Holy name I pray. Amen.

I hope you prayed that prayer with me. God willing, I’ll see you tomorrow.
